Drew is a Managing Partner of Calidant Capital. Mr. Bagot has been a private equity investor his entire career. He was most recently an Associate Director at ORIX Americas, a principal investment arm of an international financial conglomerate with over $100 billion in assets, focusing on deploying $10-30 million into growing middle-market companies across myriad industries. Mr. Bagot was previously a senior analyst with Pharos Capital Group, a $1 billion private equity fund based in Dallas, TX and Nashville, TN that concentrates on the business services, healthcare, and technology sectors. Prior thereto, he served as the lead underwriter at Shoreline Capital, a private equity-focused family office in Dallas. Mr. Bagot attained a BBA in Finance with high honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

David is a Managing Partner of Calidant Capital. Mr. Lai is a private equity investor and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in investing and managing a variety of companies, particularly in the energy services, staffing, and technology sectors. In his career, Mr. Lai has contributed to greater than $1 billion in portfolio debt and equity capital, playing key board level and operational roles in assisting management teams with growth through mergers and acquisitions and deployment of capital. Mr. Lai began his career in middle market corporate finance for what is today JP Morgan Chase & Co. and has been a principal with several family offices in Dallas, Texas. He holds a BBA in quantitative finance from Baylor University and obtained an MBA in finance from Southern Methodist University’s (SMU) Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas.
David W. Lai
Court is a Director of Calidant Capital. Mr. Alley began his career working for The Barrington Group and later started his own marketing company, Caruth Marketing, a highly successful enterprise which he sold in 2014. Most recently, Mr. Alley served as an executive in the energy services industry for Dallas-based Tubular Synergy Group. In 2008, Court founded and worked as the Executive Director of Brighter Dallas, a political action committee that promotes social and political awareness among younger Dallas residents, and in 2014, he ran for a seat in the Texas State House, during which he garnered the support of multiple former mayors and many business and civic leaders around the community. Court is a graduate of the University of Texas with a major in government and a minor in business, and received an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
